Support may include for example:
Befriending: Spending time talking, playing games, helping with a hobby or using a computer.
Sitting service: To give the carer a break or to escort the individual to a medical appointment.
Social outings: Help with shopping, a visit to a garden centre or another place of interest.
Domestic choices: Light housework including vacuuming, dusting, changing the bed, cleaning bathroom and kitchen or making a light meal.
